Enclave at Baristo had planned a grand opening for the Palm Springs luxury home development in late March. Three fully furnished models of the two-story, three-bedroom detached homes starting in the mid $900,000s would be open for tours.
But as the coronavirus pandemic put a stop to gatherings and a statewide shelter-in-place order kicked in, the opening was moved online, and virtual tours commenced.
Enclave's managing member Thomas Noya said the virtual tours allow would-be buyers to see the homes without jeopardizing anyone's health. And it's a natural extension of a marketing plan that included potential buyers moving to Palm Springs from other regions.
"The system has really become seamless, and the buyers can do everything from remote distances," he said. "If you have a great product, and you have good value and you’re willing to have (virtual) services, I think you'll continue to be successful."
Like many sectors, real estate professionals in the Coachella Valley are finding new ways to do their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic.
